Ketchikan is located on the southwestern coast of Revillagigedo Island, opposite Gravina Island, near the southern boundary of Alaska. It is 679 miles north of Seattle and 235 miles south of Juneau. It is the first Alaska port of call for northbound cruise ships and state ferries.

Ketchikan is regional service center to the surrounding communities with regularly scheduled jet service from the Ketchikan International Airport, the Alaska Marine Highway System, the Inter-Island Ferry Service, and local air and water taxi services. Ketchikan’s economy is diverse and includes a large fishing fleet, fish processing, tourism, and logging.

Upper George Inlet Subdivision is within the Ketchikan Gateway Borough. The parcels are located on Bull Island at the head of George Inlet.  It is approximately 15 miles from Mountain Point boat launch, the nearest public launch from the Ketchikan road system.

Access to these waterfront parcels is by boat or float plane.



There are no utility services in the area. Water is typically collected by a private catchment system and sewage disposal will have to be provided on site and conform to Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation requirements.

Electricity is typically handled by an on-site generator.

Parcels 14 through 18 are all waterfront properties.

Parcels 14, 15, 16, and 17 slope steeply into the water providing for a potential dock, with a ramp to the shore. Additionally, the water in front of these parcels have good protection from the wind driven waves.  These four parcels sharply slope from the beach to a bench, which is approximately 200 feet above the beach.

Parcel 18 slopes fairly steeply into the water. This parcel has areas which are sharply sloping from the beach to a few areas which have more gentle undulating terrain just above the beach.  This parcel has a 50 foot access easement along the water frontage and a 50 foot section line easement within the east and west property boundaries.
